About the Role
- Full-time role based in New Delhi.
- Hybrid work arrangement with some work-from-home flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and components for energy-related projects.
- Develop machine designs.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform calculations.
- Support research and development activities.
- Coordinate with project teams.
- Manage timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare reports and documentation.
- Interact with clients or internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Optimize performance of mechanical systems.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and safety regulations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating 2D/3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Machine Design and related analysis skills, including material selection, stress analysis, and performance evaluation.
- Project Management capabilities, including planning tasks, tracking progress, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and meeting deadlines.
- Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams within a hybrid environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainable engineering practices in the energy domain is an advantage.
