About the Role

• Internship based in Cedar Rapids, IA office, with a hybrid work model.
• Not available for students who have completed their college undergraduate education or will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
• Duration: January 2027 - August 2027, with the flexibility to extend through the end of the year.
• Work Schedule: 20 hours per week during the school semester, full-time during the summer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support market and portfolio research efforts by analyzing data to uncover insights on commercial real estate performance, portfolio positioning, and sector trends.
• Aggregate and summarize economic, real estate, and portfolio-level data, synthesizing information into charts, tables, and other visuals.
• Support the preparation of presentations, memos, and client reports.
• Help maintain and update real estate data files, dashboards, and financial models.
• Attend internal meetings (e.g., strategy sessions, investment reviews) and shadow full-time analysts.
• Assist with portfolio analysis projects, including reviewing property, loan, or fund-level data.
• May be assigned other tasks based on capabilities and evolving needs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data visualization).

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled full-time at a college or university pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong written & verbal communications skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines consistently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
