About The Role
- The role sits at the top of the revenue engine for a B2B SaaS platform serving engineering and DevOps teams.
- SDRs research accounts, start conversations with technical and economic buyers, and book qualified meetings for the account executive team.
- This is a quota-carrying, metrics-driven role with a defined path to account executive.
- Top performers build skills in outbound prospecting, multi-threading into enterprise accounts, and positioning technical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting across cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and video messaging to generate qualified pipeline.
- Qualify and route inbound leads from demos, webinars, and content downloads within agreed response-time SLAs.
- Research target accounts and personas (VPs of Engineering, platform leads, DevOps managers) to write personalized, relevant outreach.
- Book 15-20+ qualified meetings per month for account executives and consistently hit weekly activity and pipeline targets.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce — activities, dispositions, notes, and next steps — and keep sequences current in Outreach.
- Partner with marketing to give feedback on messaging, campaigns, and lead quality; contribute winning talk tracks to the team playbook.
- Meet or exceed quarterly pipeline-sourced targets while ramping quickly through onboarding and certification.
What We Are Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in SDR/BDR, sales, customer success, or another customer-facing role; strong new-grad candidates welcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to write crisp, personalized outreach and hold confident conversations with technical buyers.
- Coachable and resilient: actively seeks feedback, iterates on messaging, and stays motivated through rejection.
- Comfortable with quotas, activity metrics, and CRM hygiene in a fast-paced, measurable environment.
- Genuine curiosity about technology; able to learn a technical product and speak credibly about cloud infrastructure and developer workflows.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bonus: experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or Apollo; prior internship in tech sales; familiarity with DevOps or developer-tooling markets.
