Information Technology Lab Staff

About the Role

The Information Technology Lab Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based at INMANTEC INSTITUTIONS, Ghaziabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring and maintenance of computer labs.
• Installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software.
• Ensuring all systems are operational for academic activities.
• Supporting network connectivity.
• Managing user accounts and access.
• Applying basic network security practices to protect institutional data and resources.
• Responding to technical issues raised by faculty, staff, and students.
• Performing troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Coordinating with senior IT personnel or vendors when required.
• Maintaining asset and incident logs.
• Preparing simple documentation or user guides.
• Providing courteous front-line customer service within the labs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Information Technology fundamentals.
• Familiarity with operating systems.
• Familiarity with hardware components.
• Familiarity with common educational software tools.
• Skills in Network Administration.
• Skills in Network Security.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting.
• Effective Customer Service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in an academic or training lab environment, or in an entry-level IT support role, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to follow institutional IT policies.
• Ability to collaborate with the broader IT and academic teams.
