AI Advise Strategy Consultant

About the Role

Deloitte's Strategy & Transactions team guides clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives, delivering integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services. This role involves working alongside clients to navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions for transformational projects and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Help clients understand how to adopt, govern, and scale AI and other emerging technologies.
• Conduct primary and secondary research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Synthesize findings from interviews, surveys, datasets, and literature into clear insights, accelerated through AI tools.
• Produce concise, well-structured writing tailored to executive audiences, including AI strategy briefings, point-of-view papers on emerging technology, governance frameworks, and sections of client deliverables.
• Contribute to the design of AI governance policies, responsible-use frameworks, and operating policies for emerging technology deployment.
• Understand how high-performing organizations are structured and how AI adoption requires evolution.
• Track developments across generative AI, agents, automation, and adjacent technologies, articulating their implications for the future of work, workforce strategy, and business models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• 2+ years of experience in research, policy, strategy, or professional services.
• Ability to travel 0-10%, on average.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MPP, MPA, MBA or related field).
• Coursework or research focused on AI, technology policy, or the future of work.
• Proficiency with standard analytical and productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, prompting, or data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
