About PlaySuper

PlaySuper is rebuilding how mobile games monetize, sitting between studios and brands to turn in-game engagement into real-world rewards for players.

The Role

You will own the design of PlaySuper's in-game store end-to-end, from mapping the player journey to designing and shipping touchpoints, and analyzing conversion data. You will work directly with the lead designer, Head of Product, and CTO, alongside engineering, research, and brand teams. This is a hands-on internship where you will ship real work across 20+ live games, contributing to a repeatable design process and measurable conversion numbers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play assigned games and map player journeys to identify optimal store touchpoint placements.
  • Design native touchpoint variants that integrate seamlessly with each game's experience.
  • Contribute to a flexible design system and component library enabling studios to configure store branding, content, and layout independently.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback from the lead designer, working with multiple fidelities and tight feedback loops.
  • Define UX and conversion metrics for shipped touchpoints and optimize them post-launch using data.

Qualifications

  • 0–1 years of experience designing consumer products.
  • A portfolio showcasing high-quality, thoughtful visual and interaction work, including clean mobile UI, real screens, and documented design decisions.
  • Instinctive understanding of when and how store touchpoints should be integrated into games without disrupting the player experience.
  • Fluency in Figma, with a keen eye for clean mobile UI and attention to pixel-level detail.
  • A player of mobile games with an intuitive understanding of their user experience.
  • Ability to maintain high output and attention to detail across multiple games.
  • Comfortable with systems thinking and designing reusable patterns.

Bonus Points

  • Prior work on game UI, app UI, or e-commerce/store flows.
  • Ability to write concise microcopy or eagerness to learn.
  • Background in motion, illustration, or copywriting to enhance design work.
  • Genuine understanding of the mobile gaming community and current game releases.
