About the Role

The Finance Intern role is an on-site internship at MAP Supply Chain Solutions Private Limited, based in Model Town. This role offers exposure to financial operations within a supply chain and logistics company, providing practical experience and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the finance team with daily tasks.
• Prepare and update financial records.
• Support invoice processing.
• Assist with expense tracking and reconciliations.
• Assist in basic financial analysis.
• Prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Help maintain organized documentation.
• Ensure data accuracy in financial systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather required information.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic accounting software or ERP systems (beneficial)

Qualifications

• Foundational finance and accounting knowledge, including understanding of financial statements, basic bookkeeping, and budget tracking.
• Analytical and numerical skills, including the ability to interpret data and prepare simple financial reports.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Interest in supply chain or logistics finance (beneficial).
• Ability to work on-site in Model Town.
• Ability to demonstrate professional conduct.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
