Job Title: Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs)
About the Role
Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center is a skilled nursing community seeking Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs) to join their healthcare team. New graduates are welcome. The role offers 12-hour shifts and is available for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents as assigned
- Administer and record medications/treatments
- Assist physicians with procedures and treatments
- Educate and support residents and their families
- Participate in care planning and evaluation with the healthcare team
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions
- Document observations and care provided
- Ensure a safe, comfortable environment
- May assist with unit management or serve as charge nurse
Requirements & Tech Stack
- GPNs: Completion of a Practical Nursing program and eligibility for Missouri licensure.
