Treasury Specialist

As a Treasury Specialist on the Treasury & Cash Management team, you will contribute to creating a person-focused and economically sustainable health care system by performing a variety of general cash management/treasury functions. This role requires analytical thinking and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily bank activity to accurately post and reconcile transactions.
• Prepare required daily and monthly journal entries, including split payments, corrections, bank returned items, and reclass transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile various balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy with necessary documentation.
• Accurately gather, validate, and summarize accounting or statistical data.
• Identify and research payments, coordinating posting to various A/R systems.
• Monitor daily payment activities.
• Post bank transactions.
• Develop desktop procedures.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to accurately key accounting data at 40 wpm with 95% accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to think analytically and make sound judgments.
• Ability to work flexible hours during periods of heavy workloads.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with stakeholders.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings is highly desired.
• Wired internet connection (not satellite or cellular) with minimum upload speed of 5Mb and minimum download speed of 10 Mb.
• Access to a personal mobile device for setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Location & Pay

• Work from home within Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
• Preference given to candidates residing in Idaho or Utah.
• National pay structure (Washington, Oregon, and Boise/Lewiston/Salt Lake City metro areas): $20.00 - $32.50 per hour with a 6% bonus target.
• Regional pay structure (Idaho and Utah outside metro areas): $18.25 - $29.30 per hour with a 6% bonus target.
