Trade Support Associate (equities)

About the Role

A leading global multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to hire a Trade Support / Middle Office professional in Chicago to support its Equity Options trading desks. This is a front-office facing role covering the full trade lifecycle across Equities, Equity Options, Index Options, Futures, and Futures Options.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade capture
• Clearing
• Position reconciliations
• Daily P&L
• Resolving trading-related issues
• Significant interaction with traders
• Automation
• Process improvement
• Enhancing proprietary trading infrastructure
• Developing tools, streamlining workflows, and improving operational efficiency (in collaboration with Engineering)
• Taking ownership of projects and driving improvements beyond day-to-day operations

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Listed derivatives experience
• Strong Python skills
• Exposure to Git
• Exposure to Linux

Qualifications

• Ability to work closely with Traders, Researchers, Engineers, and Operations teams.
• Experience supporting trading activity across global markets.
• Understanding of trading strategies and risk management.
