About the Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer to develop intelligent geospatial solutions using satellite imagery, drone-captured aerial data, and advanced computer vision technologies. The candidate will build AI/ML models to extract actionable insights from aerial imagery for mapping, object detection, monitoring, and geospatial intelligence applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI/ML and deep learning models for satellite and drone imagery analysis.
- Implement object detection, image classification, semantic segmentation, and object tracking algorithms.
- Develop solutions for change detection, terrain analysis, land-use classification, and aerial surveillance.
- Process and analyze geospatial raster and vector data from satellites, UAVs, and other remote sensing platforms.
- Build automated geospatial data processing pipelines and integrate AI models with GIS platforms.
- Optimize models for real-time or near-real-time inference on cloud, edge devices, and UAV platforms.
- Collaborate with aerospace, drone, robotics, and software engineering teams to develop practical solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with AI/ML, deep learning, and computer vision.
- Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow, OpenCV, and image processing techniques.
- Knowledge of geospatial tools and libraries such as GDAL, Rasterio, GeoPandas, QGIS, or Google Earth Engine.
- Understanding of satellite imagery, remote sensing, coordinate reference systems, and geospatial data formats.
- Experience with object detection models such as YOLO, segmentation models, and transformer-based vision architectures.
