Global Accounting Specialist, UK Accounts

About the Role

The Global Accounting Specialist – UK Accounts will manage end-to-end accounting and reporting activities for UK-based clients. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Noida.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Post and reconcile journal entries.
• Maintain accurate ledgers in alignment with UK accounting standards and client policies.
• Work extensively with accounting software to process transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Support month-end and year-end close.
• Assist in audits and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with client teams.
• Analyze financial data to identify variances or trends.
• Provide timely, accurate management information.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Uphold quality and confidentiality standards.
• Support training and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software.
• Proficiency in posting and reconciling Journal Entries.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Finance and ability to interpret and analyze Financial Statements.
• Proven Analytical Skills to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide insights.
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Knowledge of UK accounting practices and regulations, including statutory reporting and compliance.
• Attention to detail, high accuracy in data handling, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-border teams.
• Prior experience in outsourced or shared services environments, especially with international clients, is preferred.
