Manual Test Engineer

About the Role

Real Time Applications Center (RTAC) is looking for a detail-oriented Manual Testing Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our software products and business applications. You’ll work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues and deliver dependable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
• Validate application workflows, data accuracy, and expected results.
• Conduct retesting after fixes and maintain test documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to improve product quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Knowledge of test case design, bug reporting, and defect life cycle.
• Familiarity with web applications, databases, and basic SQL.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Jira or other bug-tracking tools is an advantage.
• Freshers with relevant academic projects or testing knowledge are encouraged to apply.
