Business Mentor

About the Role

The Business Mentor is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Delhi Area, with flexibility for some work-from-home. This role focuses on guiding AMC partners and small business clients in using VigilAMC to strengthen operations, improve compliance, and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentoring business owners and teams.
• Reviewing current processes.
• Helping create practical business plans aligned with VigilAMC’s capabilities.
• Designing and delivering training sessions on:
• Best practices.
• Financial implications of missed renewals.
• Strategies to retain and expand client contracts.
• Collaborating with internal product and customer success teams to share insights, refine training materials, and support continuous improvement of client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and implement effective business planning strategies, particularly for service-based or AMC-focused organizations.
• Demonstrated mentoring skills, with experience guiding small business owners or teams through operational and strategic challenges.
• Experience working with small businesses, preferably in services, compliance, facilities management, or related domains.
• Background in designing and delivering training programs, workshops, or coaching sessions for diverse audiences.
• Solid understanding of finance concepts relevant to small businesses, such as revenue optimization, contract value, and cost control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment in the Greater Delhi Area, managing both on-site visits and remote sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• An MBA or equivalent experience is an advantage.
• Prior experience in SaaS, compliance-focused services, or operations consulting is beneficial.
