About the Role
Join the Bespoke segment at Twigs Direct to experience bringing custom furniture designs to life. Work on live client projects, developing design concepts, exploring materials and finishes, preparing technical drawings, and understanding how designs translate into finished products. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the entire process, from understanding client requirements and developing designs to working with the production team and learning the realities of furniture manufacturing.
What You'll Work On
- Develop bespoke furniture designs for projects.
- Create design concepts, 3D models, and technical drawings.
- Explore materials, finishes, and construction details.
- Work with the design and production teams to take designs from concept to execution.
- Learn about furniture manufacturing, prototyping, and production processes.
Who Can Apply
- Students pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Rhino and AutoCAD.
- A strong interest in furniture, materials, craftsmanship, and product development.
- Willingness to work hands-on with carpenters and production teams in a factory environment.
