About the Role

Join the Barrett Petfood team as a Full-Time Packager in Little Falls, Minnesota. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality pet food. You will work onsite in a fun and high-performance culture with a competitive pay range of $17.50 - $21.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Packaging pet food products, ensuring all items meet safety and quality standards.
• Inspecting packaging for errors and properly labeling products.
• Collaborating closely with team members.
• Adhering to production schedules.
• Ensuring a secure work environment by following safety protocols.
• Working with a team to ensure pet food is packaged in an efficient, timely, and quality manner.
• Supporting the operator by filling & sealing bags and watching the machine run, alerting the operator if issues arise.
• Keeping the packaging line clean.
• Assisting in clearing jams from the bundler.
• Assisting the operator in all packaging functions.
• Assisting in conducting & recording metal, weight, seals, and lot code checks as needed.

Shifts Available

• 2ND SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM (+$1.50/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, and perform other physical activities required in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely climb and descend stairs and ladders, including accessing elevated work areas and equipment.
• Ability to safely operate or work from a scissor lift to access elevated equipment and production areas.
• Maintain balance and stability while working on elevated platforms, stairs, ladders, and uneven or wet surfaces.
• Work in varying environmental conditions, including areas that may be hot, cold, wet, humid, noisy, or subject to temperature fluctuations.
