About the Role
Aera Gas Control Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee – Quality to join their Quality team in Pune, Maharashtra. This role offers hands-on exposure to various aspects of quality control and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support quality-related issues concerning internal processes, suppliers, customers, and warranty.
- Assist in identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Support incoming material inspection and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in product and process audits.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of control plans and quality documentation.
- Monitor quality KPIs including scrap, rework, PPM, and defects.
- Identify and report unacceptable products/processes that could impact production.
- Support compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare basic quality reports and communicate findings to management.
- Support supplier and customer quality activities.
- Participate in quality meetings and follow up on action plans.
- Undertake quality-related projects and benchmarking activities.
- Follow company safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- BE / BTech / ME / MTech in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic data analysis.
- Basic knowledge of measurement techniques and metrology.
- Understanding of inspection methods and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player with an achievement-oriented approach.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations when required.
- Own vehicle preferred.
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Approximately 80% office work with occasional supplier visits.
- Candidates willing to work in Pune are preferred.
