About the Role
OneFourTwo Design Group is seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer who is passionate about the design & construction process to join our offices in Atlanta/Houston/Indianapolis.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and others outside the project team.
- Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
- Review building codes to assure proper implementation in design.
- Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, architect, civil, and mechanical engineers.
- Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents as well as construction.
- Produce construction-ready design drawings coordinated with all disciplines to assure completeness and accuracy.
- Manage construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with the construction teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 0-1 years of structural engineering internship or co-op experience.
- Revit experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of analysis and design programs such as RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design packages is preferred.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
