The Assistant Housekeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Haridwar, responsible for supporting daily housekeeping operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with room preparation.
• Bed making.
• Bathroom cleaning.
• Replenishing amenities.
• Handling laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.
• Responding to guest requests.
• Coordinating with the housekeeping team.
• Helping to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
• Following safety and hygiene protocols.
• Reporting maintenance issues.
• Supporting training of new housekeeping staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Laundry skills, including proper handling and care of linens and guest garments.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with guests.
• Customer Service skills to respond courteously to guest needs and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Organization Skills to manage housekeeping tasks, supplies, and room preparation efficiently.
• Training capabilities to support onboarding and guidance of new housekeeping staff.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred, with knowledge of cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods while following safety guidelines.
• Basic literacy and numeracy.
• Reliability in shift-based work.
• A respectful, team-oriented attitude.
