About the Role

Serve as a senior engineer for execution systems, delivering robust solutions that connect manufacturing operations with enterprise platforms through Azure DevOps, GitHub, RDBMS, and AVEVA PI Historian. Apply extensive experience to design, implement, and optimize hybrid day shift systems that enhance supply chain reliability, operational visibility, and data-driven decision-making, while ensuring secure and scalable execution environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement execution system solutions that integrate Azure DevOps, GitHub, RDBMS, and AVEVA PI Historian to provide resilient data flows across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Develop and optimize scalable data models within relational databases to ensure reliable storage, retrieval, and reporting of execution and process information for enterprise stakeholders.
• Configure and maintain AVEVA PI Historian environments to capture high-fidelity time series data from plant systems, enabling advanced analysis of production performance and asset health.
• Create and manage Azure DevOps pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment workflows for execution system components, improving release reliability and reducing manual intervention.
• Administer and enhance GitHub-based repositories by enforcing branching strategies and pull request practices that support clean version control and traceability of execution system code artifacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model to translate manufacturing and supply chain requirements into detailed technical designs that support standardized and compliant execution processes.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis of incidents in execution systems by reviewing logs, data traces, and configuration states, and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Optimize query performance and database configurations in RDBMS platforms to support timely reporting, dashboards, and analytics that guide tactical and strategic decisions in operations.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for execution systems using PI data and database metrics to detect anomalies early and support proactive maintenance and operational continuity.
• Document system architectures, integration patterns, and configuration standards for execution platforms so that support teams and stakeholders can clearly understand dependencies and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate and perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes during day shifts in a controlled manner to minimize disruption while keeping execution environments secure and current.
• Support validation and testing activities by preparing test data, executing test cases, and confirming that execution systems meet functional, performance, and compliance expectations before release to production.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to peers on best practices in Azure DevOps, GitHub, RDBMS, and AVEVA PI Historian so that the broader team can consistently deliver high-quality execution solutions.

Qualifications

• Use deep experience in GitHub and related workflows to maintain clean repositories, code reviews, and collaboration models that support stable development of execution system applications and services.
• Leverage strong RDBMS expertise including schema design, indexing, and query tuning to ensure that execution data structures support reporting, integration, and long-term maintainability.
• Utilize extensive hands-on proficiency with AVEVA PI Historian including tag configuration, interface management, and data compression settings to deliver reliable industrial data infrastructure.
• Draw on practical exposure to manufacturing processes to design execution solutions that respect shop floor constraints, production sequencing, and quality considerations for real-world plants.
• Apply understanding of supply chain concepts such as demand planning, inventory flows, and logistics to shape execution data models and integrations that provide end-to-end visibility.
• Operate effectively within a hybrid work model by using collaboration tools, structured communication, and disciplined documentation practices to maintain continuity between remote and onsite activities.
