About the Role
The US Voice & Accent Trainer – AI Voice Evaluation is a full-time remote role focused on assessing and refining US English voice and accent for AI voice solutions and human learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured voice and accent evaluations.
- Deliver vocal and pronunciation coaching sessions.
- Provide detailed feedback aligned with US English standards.
- Collaborate with AI and learning teams to review audio samples.
- Annotate speech characteristics.
- Help define evaluation criteria for voice models.
- Prepare training materials, lesson plans, and reference guides.
- Document progress and maintain consistent quality benchmarks.
- Participate in calibration sessions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of evaluation processes.
- Support a professional, inclusive learning environment for global participants.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Comfort working with digital tools and platforms for remote training, audio review, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Skills in Vocal Coaching and Vocal Instruction to guide learners in improving clarity, pronunciation, and overall vocal performance.
- Skills in Voice Lessons and Music Education to structure effective training sessions and apply pedagogical best practices in voice training.
- Foundational knowledge of Music Theory to support nuanced understanding of pitch, rhythm, and tone in voice evaluation.
- Strong command of US English pronunciation, intonation, and phonetics, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Experience in voice, accent, or speech training for professionals, call centers, or educational settings is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, observation, and feedback skills, with attention to detail and consistency in evaluation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Linguistics, Education, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
