About the Role
As a Data Science Intern at Dexter's Tech, you will:
- Assist in analyzing datasets.
- Develop data-driven solutions.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to practical problems.
- Gain practical exposure to data preprocessing, exploratory analysis, model development, evaluation, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets for analysis.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
- Assist in developing and testing machine learning models.
- Apply basic statistical and analytical techniques to datasets.
- Create visualizations to communicate data-driven findings.
- Evaluate model performance and document results.
- Assist in preparing reports and project presentations.
- Research relevant data science techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with team members on practical data science projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data science, analytics, and machine learning.
- Willingness to learn and work on practical projects.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts.
- Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries is preferred.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
