About the Role

This is an entry-level position. As an Advertising and Promotions Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing on and off-property promotions and events as directed by marketing leadership. Additionally, you will be responsible for the execution of the social media strategy and will work with the marketing agency to assist with all on-property signage needs and any other advertising needs as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes logs and other paperwork as required.
• Updates and maintains website content.
• Provides information about events and activities as requested by guests.
• Markets property amenities to guests.
• Executes promotions and events according to promotional rules and guidelines.
• Performs casino announcements in a clear, concise, upbeat manner.
• Works with the marketing agency and marketing leadership to develop and execute a social media strategy.
• Ensures all on-property signage needs are met by working with all departments.
• Ensures advertising needs requiring property involvement are completed by working with the marketing agency.
• Assists Casino Hosts with servicing guests by issuing comps, player cards, and general account servicing.
• May issue complimentary items in accordance with the approved comp matrix.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Work Environment: Moderate noise level; exposure to smoke on the casino floor and in the Cage; exposure to all types of weather.
• Physical Demands: Frequently required to walk, stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb stairs and sit. Frequently required to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possesses an engaging personality that is detail-oriented and able to complete tasks and meet deadlines in a highly time-sensitive environment.
