About the Role
Cafe Canvas OS is seeking a Cloud & DevOps Engineer Intern to support the infrastructure behind our platform. This internship is suitable for students, recent graduates, and early-career candidates interested in cloud engineering and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and maintaining development and staging environments.
- Help build CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployments.
- Support Docker-based application deployments and infrastructure-as-code tasks.
- Monitor logs, metrics, and alerts, and assist in investigating issues with the engineering team.
- Assist with backup checks, access management, and cloud cost tracking under guidance.
- Document setup steps, deployment workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of cloud services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking fundamentals.
- Basic scripting or programming skills in Bash, Python, or JavaScript.
- Interest in Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and clear communication.
- Relevant coursework, personal projects, or hands-on labs.
- Prior professional experience is not required.
Nice to Have
- A project deployed to a cloud platform.
- Exposure to GitHub Actions, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of databases and application security.
You will gain practical experience supporting a real product and collaborating with the engineering team. Production changes will be reviewed with the team.
