About the Role
The Public Area Attendant will be responsible for the cleanliness, order, and maintenance of all public areas at the Star Cement location in Agartala. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a reliable and service-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of corridors, common areas, sanitary facilities, and outdoor areas.
- Proper use of cleaning and care agents.
- Reporting damages or safety hazards.
- Ensuring hygiene standards and internal policies are maintained at all times.
- Assisting with minor facility-related tasks as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility management.
- Safe use of cleaning and care agents.
- Understanding of occupational safety and hygiene regulations.
- Proficiency in operating basic technical equipment (e.g., cleaning machines).
- Reliability, diligence, and physical resilience.
- Willingness to work shifts or weekends.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial or production environments is advantageous.
- Basic English language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to undergo training and further education.
