Key Responsibilities

• Handling daily cash and card transactions.
• Issuing receipts.
• Maintaining accurate records of all payments.
• Balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day.
• Reconciling transactions.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Interacting with customers or internal stakeholders.
• Answering basic payment-related queries.
• Promptly resolving discrepancies.
• Following established workflows.
• Maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
• Supporting smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical aptitude and ability to handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping principles and comfort working with transaction records.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Mumbai and manage repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in cashiering, retail, or finance support roles is beneficial.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; further commerce or finance-related studies are an advantage.
