About the Role

Crossing Infotech is hiring a Data Science Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship runs for 1 to 3 months with a monthly stipend of INR 15,500 to INR 16,500.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean and prepare datasets for analysis using Python and Pandas.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to find trends, patterns and relationships in data.
• Apply basic statistical methods to test ideas and support business decisions.
• Create charts and dashboards using Matplotlib, Seaborn or Power BI.
• Build and test simple machine learning models with guidance from the team.
• Write SQL queries to fetch and analyze data from databases.
• Document findings and present insights in a clear and simple way.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Python (data types, loops, functions).
• Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy.
• Basic understanding of statistics (mean, median, correlation, probability).
• Familiarity with data visualization using Matplotlib, Seaborn or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE).
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Scikit-learn and basic machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook, Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of Power BI or Tableau.
• Any data science course, certification or project experience.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science, IT, Statistics or Mathematics), M.Sc or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in data science.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
