About the Role

• Work closely with data science team and Data Science leads as a lead on one or more projects throughout the engagement lifecycle, from design to implementation.
• Ensure high sense of project ownership.
• Ensure timely and proper communication to Business Partners and Leaders.
• Timely and quality delivery of engagements with minimum supervision.
• Work with the business teams to operationalize the analytics solution.
• Engage in communications with business partners for all important functions associated with the project including data understanding, solution design etc.
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from design to implementation, ensuring timely and quality delivery with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with Business Partners and Leaders regarding project status and important functions like data understanding and solution design.
• Operationalize analytics solutions by collaborating with business teams.

Qualifications

• Education Level: Any stream with relevant experience.
• Experience in Analytics industry.
• Working experience of statistical techniques (like linear regression, logistic regression, time series analysis, clustering, and decision trees) and advanced techniques like SVM, GBM, and NLP.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturity.
• Ability to leverage Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, Cloud, Azure, and Databricks to solve complex business problems in Healthcare Domain.
• Proven excellent interpersonal and team skills.
• Proven excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven excellent problem solving abilities.
• Professional, service oriented, proactive and flexible.
• Ability to acquire understanding of US healthcare Domain.
