About the Role
The Accounting Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, supporting the finance and accounting functions for Arch Connect and its operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and updating financial records.
- Post journal entries.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Help with financial statement preparation.
- Review expense reports.
- Support invoice processing.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Work with accounting software for data entry.
- Generate basic reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Apply analytical thinking to identify discrepancies.
- Learn best practices in corporate accounting and finance.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Accounting Software
- MS Excel
- Other office productivity tools
Qualifications
- Ability to work with core accounting tasks, including Financial Statements and Journal Entries.
- Familiarity with Accounting Software and basic Finance concepts.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Gurugram.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and processes, and uphold ethical and compliance standards.
