About the Role

P.F. Chang's is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time hourly Bussers, Runners, or Service Assistants. This role is responsible for restaurant dine-in and takeout operations, cleaning, running food, bussing restaurant tables, and side work. They will also assist with catering orders, including delivery when applicable. All team members must demonstrate customer service expertise by providing an individualized, exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide guests through their experience while taking, placing, and reviewing orders for takeout and catering.
• Understand the restaurant menu to identify different menu items and guide guests on choosing them.
• Review orders with the Guest (at pick-up or upon delivery) and/or with Delivery Driver ensuring order accuracy.
• Deliver an amazing hospitality experience to guests by anticipating, delivering, and exceeding their expectations.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize restaurant tables, and bus dishes to the kitchen dishwasher station.
• Reset tables as needed.
• Remove bus tubs from the bar to the kitchen dishwasher station.
• Restock, clean, and maintain all restaurant stations.
• Understand restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food within the restaurant.
• Serve food or beverages for dine-in and takeout.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment, including the coffee machine, iced tea machine, lemon slicer, point of sale (POS) system, and any other applicable system(s).
• Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is not required – training will be provided.
• Have a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or assistance will be provided to obtain one.
