SEO and GEO marketing Intern

About the Role

Renergy Technologies is hiring a full-time, remote intern in India to grow how often renergytech.com shows up in Google and in AI answers. The internship starts as soon as possible and runs to December 2026, with a stipend of ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 a month. This is a performance-driven role for self-starters.

Key Responsibilities

• Find the real question behind each page by reading Reddit threads, Google's "People also ask" boxes, technician forums, and manufacturer manuals.
• Draft pages with AI tools inside the content system.
• Review every page before it goes live, checking figures against their source, AI inaccuracies, and refrigeration technician objections.
• Shape pages for answer engines (AEO and GEO) with direct answers, FAQ blocks, structured data, and internal links.
• Track results in Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4), monitoring impressions, clicks, positions, and AI answer citations.
• Run small experiments, such as new titles, FAQ formats, or internal links, with a hypothesis, metric, and written result.
• Send a short report twice per week detailing what was shipped, what moved, and what will be tried next.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• You are a self-starter, taking a brief, asking questions early, and delivering without being chased.
• Basic refrigeration knowledge: ability to explain the refrigeration cycle (compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator) and defrost cycle.
• SEO basics: understanding of search intent, keyword mapping, page structure, structured data, and how AI answer engines choose sources.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
• Experience running at least one data-driven experiment.
• Clear, plain English communication skills for explaining technical problems.
• Daily use of AI tools and an understanding of their limitations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or Ubersuggest analysis.
• Comfort editing JSON or HTML and running a Python script.
• HVAC or refrigeration coursework or an internship.
• Experience writing for a technical or business audience.

Stipend and Logistics

• Dates: Full-time, from as soon as possible to December 2026.
• Stipend: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 a month, depending on assignment.
• Location: Remote, from anywhere in India.
• Hours: A few hours of evening overlap (IST) each week for calls with Toronto.
• Team: Work directly with the founder.
