Display Electrical Engineer 1

About the Role

Collins Aerospace is seeking an entry-level Display Electrical Engineer 1 to join the Display Products team in May/June 2027. This role is designated as Onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document new electrical hardware.
• Develop, test, and document changes to existing hardware designs.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical and systems engineering) to ensure appropriate electrical design for the application.
• Participate in cross-functional team efforts for integration, pre-qualification, and qualification of products and subsystems.
• Utilize problem-solving and design skills to implement changes to documented electrical designs.
• Support the generation and release of complex technical documentation.
• Support integration and environmental qualification testing of new products.
• Mentor with Display engineers and potentially lead small projects with assistance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs), digital multimeters (DMMs) and signal generators for circuit characterization, debugging and validation.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience using computer aided design (CAD) layout software such as Siemens Expedition or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical hardware documentation or drawing standards.
• Experience with displays technology such as image processing, LCD drivers, graphics engines, touch screens, etc.
• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

• Salary range: 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.
