About the Role

Sevita, through its Indiana Mentor program, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth. The Direct Support Professional role is a mission-driven position focused on helping individuals grow, learn, and live well.

Key Responsibilities

• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist people with their personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Communication skills.
• Adaptability.
• Multi-tasking ability.
• Teamwork skills.
• Time-management skills.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
