QooCom
About the Role
QooCom builds end-to-end visualization technology for quantum communication systems. Our tools show the physics behind each component, such as sources, channels, detectors, and key distribution, and adapt their layout to each customer's needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build visual models of quantum communication components (photon sources, fibers, free-space links, detectors, QKD protocols)
- Turn the underlying physics into clear, interactive visuals
- Customize system layouts and dashboards to match customer requirements
- Work with engineers and physicists to validate simulations against real behavior
- Document your work and present results to the team
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Programming skills in Python (JavaScript, C++, Julia, or MATLAB is a plus)
- Basic understanding of quantum mechanics or optics (qubits, polarization, entanglement)
- Interest in visualization, UI design, or simulation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Physics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Photonics, or a related field
- Nice to have: Experience with Linear Algebra and calculus
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Three.js, D3, Unity, or Plotly
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Optics and QKD (BB84, E91)
What You'll Gain
- Hands-on experience in a growing quantum technology field
- Mentorship from experts
- Real customer-facing projects
