About the Role

MachScale is hiring a cohort of recruiters to join the team. These are full-desk seats covering both delivery and business development. You will learn the craft from the ground up on live mandates with some of the most disruptive startups in the US. You start weighted toward delivery, then grow into the BD side as you build your own desk and client base. This is a founding-era seat on a lean team moving fast, offering real ownership early and the runway to build something that is yours in a high-performing, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to own searches end-to-end: sourcing, engagement, screening, submission, and management through offer.
• Hunt and assess senior technical and leadership talent in cleared and hardtech markets.
• Build real relationships with engineers and leaders as they move through the process.
• Run tight candidate processes. Keep clients and candidates moving and aligned.
• Map pipelines and markets across our core sectors: defense, aerospace, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
• Grow into the Business Development half of the desk as you develop.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Recent graduate or early-career, ready to build something.
• No recruitment experience required. We will teach you the craft.
• Strong written and verbal communication. You can hold your own in a peer-to-peer conversation with senior talent and business leaders.
• Ability to build strong relationships quickly.
• Genuine pull toward defense, aerospace, robotics, or advanced manufacturing. You do not need a technical background. You do need the curiosity to learn the domains fast.
