About the Role

Nidara Capital Management LLP is an investment management firm focused on delivering disciplined, research-driven equity strategies. Team members collaborate closely to generate high-conviction investment ideas grounded in rigorous financial and market research. The Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental and financial analysis of listed companies, sectors, and markets to support investment decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular collaboration with team members to refine and implement equity investment ideas.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining detailed financial models.
• Preparing valuation analyses.
• Tracking company performance.
• Monitoring relevant news and corporate actions.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and a proven ability to interpret complex financial and business information.
• Proficiency in Financial Modeling, including building and maintaining detailed models for valuation and scenario analysis.
• Solid knowledge of Finance and Investments, including equity markets, valuation techniques, and portfolio concepts.
• Strong Research capabilities, including gathering, validating, and synthesizing data from multiple sources.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA or progress toward it) are an advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial databases and market data tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under time constraints.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to maintain high ethical and professional standards.
