About the Role

Kickstart FC is a football club and academy driven by the belief that football can foster social integration by strengthening body, mind, and spirit. The club promotes football for people of all ages and genders, with a special focus on creating opportunities for underprivileged communities to experience teamwork, equality, and ambition. Kickstart FC competes in local and national leagues across India and runs an academy in Bengaluru with over 400 young players, along with a foundation supporting underprivileged footballers. The organization manages three FIFA-approved facilities in Bengaluru, including the Bangalore Football Stadium, through its sports management company Impetus. With achievements such as unbeaten runners-up in the Bangalore Super Division and champions in the Karnataka Women’s League, Kickstart FC offers a dynamic environment for those passionate about football and community impact.

This is a full-time, on-site Content Creator role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging digital content that showcases club activities, academy programs, player stories, match highlights, and community initiatives across social media, websites, and other online platforms.
• Plan and produce photo, video, and written content.
• Coordinate with coaches, players, and management to capture authentic stories.
• Ensure all content aligns with the club’s brand voice and values.
• Manage content calendars.
• Optimize content for audience engagement and reach.
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams on campaigns and event promotion.
• Track performance metrics and continuously refine content based on audience insights and feedback.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in content writing and storytelling, with experience creating clear, engaging copy for digital platforms.
• Skills in social media content creation and digital marketing, including basic understanding of audience engagement, campaigns, and analytics.
• Skills in visual content production, such as photography, videography, and basic editing using common creative tools or software.
• Skills in planning and organizing content, including maintaining content calendars and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site with flexible hours around matches and events.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications such as experience in sports content or community-focused initiatives are highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with football is highly beneficial.
• A portfolio of prior work is highly beneficial.
