About the Role

The Azure Cloud Computing Intern role at Weskill is a full-time remote position designed for individuals eager to develop practical cloud skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, deploying, and managing Azure-based solutions under the guidance of senior mentors.
• Help in configuring virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
• Support troubleshooting and performance optimization tasks.
• Document technical processes.
• Collaborate on cloud-related projects.
• Participate in training sessions and code reviews to deepen understanding of Azure services and best practices.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (such as virtual machines, storage, and networking).
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and computer networks, including IP addressing and security fundamentals.
• Ability to read and write simple scripts or code in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, team-oriented environment.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Any exposure to Azure certifications or online cloud courses is a plus.
• Prior experience with cloud labs or technical projects is a plus.
