Cyber Full-Stack Software Engineer

The Team

Deloitte's Cyber Engineering is a new team spearheading the buildout of Cybersecurity technology that will underpin the next generation of their Cybersecurity services.

Position Summary

Join Deloitte's Cyber Engineering team to help build technology that supports the next generation of cybersecurity services. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance applications across frontend and backend environments, working with modern engineering practices and cloud-based technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support client and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with business stakeholders, engineers, and team leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Designing, developing, testing, and enhancing full stack applications across frontend and backend technologies
• Building and integrating application programming interfaces, microservices, and cloud-based services to support product functionality
• Supporting product quality through code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
• Contributing to technical analysis, solution design, and delivery activities that support client outcomes and product development

Requirements & Tech Stack

• 1-3+ years experience in full stack development across frontend and backend technologies
• Angular, React, or Next.js
• JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Node.js, Python (with Django or Flask), or Java (with Spring Boot)
• Building and consuming Representational State Transfer (REST) application programming interfaces
• Microservices or serverless architectures in production environments
• Relational databases and at least one NoSQL database
• Git, Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Docker
• Agile or Scrum methods
• Automated testing
• Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Developing, integrating, or deploying artificial intelligence, Generative AI, or agentic AI solutions within enterprise applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ability to travel 20%, on average

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a similar technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices
• Experience building secure, reusable, responsive, and maintainable applications
• Experience with secure development practices, DevOps, DevSecOps, web security, GitOps, or Kubernetes customization
• Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Memgraph, Maven, or Gradle
• Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, or JavaServer Pages (JSP) in legacy or mixed-technology environments
• Cloud certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
