About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for a Buyer at Entrepreneur Sanctuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Researching and sourcing products and services.
• Evaluating suppliers.
• Negotiating pricing and terms to support business needs.
• Analyzing demand and inventory levels.
• Preparing purchase orders.
• Tracking deliveries.
• Ensuring timely, accurate fulfillment.
• Collaborating with internal teams to understand requirements.
• Maintaining vendor relationships.
• Identifying cost-saving and quality-improvement opportunities.
• Monitoring market trends.
• Assessing risks.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports to support strategic purchasing decisions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in purchasing, procurement, and supplier evaluation.
• Ability to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Proficiency in analyzing data.
• Proficiency in managing inventory.
• Proficiency using spreadsheets or purchasing systems to support decision-making.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet access and appropriate workspace.
• Familiarity with contract terms.
• Familiarity with basic budgeting.
• Familiarity with cost analysis.
• Prior remote work experience is beneficial.
• Experience with ERP or purchasing software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
