Slitter Machine Operator, Weekend Night

About the Role

Crane Currency is hiring a Slitter Machine Operator for our Weekend Night Shift in Nashua, NH. This role offers a 3-day work week, with 36 hours worked and paid for 40, plus a 20% shift differential.

Pay & Schedule

• Weekend Night Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Pay: $22.50/hr + 20% shift differential ($27.00/hr)
• Hours: 36 hours worked, paid for 40

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and monitor manufacturing machines.
• Follow detailed processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Check materials and finished product to maintain high standards.
• Work closely with the team to hit daily production goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to pass a government background investigation (Position of Public Trust Clearance).
• Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Mechanically inclined (even from hobbies or previous jobs).
• Team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred, not required.
• Reliable and shows up ready to work.

Hiring Process

• You’ll start through one of our staffing partners while completing a required security clearance.
• Once cleared, trained, and meeting expectations, you’ll be eligible to convert to a permanent Crane employee (typically within 90 days).
