IT Application Analyst, Leo

About the Role

Amazon Leo FinTech team is looking for an Oracle e-Business Suite Functional Analyst with expertise in Financials to play a key role designing, implementing, and extending the applications used in Amazon. This position will be responsible for leading the functional design, configuration and support of applications with a primary focus on the global deployment of applications within the e-Business suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with business customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements.
• Perform gap analysis to identify e-Business suite system configuration and development changes.
• Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documents.
• Work with the business and development team to design and implement system modifications.
• Work with business customers, developers and Oracle Support to research, document and resolve Oracle system issues.
• Create SQL queries against Oracle tables to troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience in translating business needs into detailed feature requirements.
• Knowledge of database query technologies (SQL).

Qualifications

• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Experience in Oracle DB.
• Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing competing priorities.
• Experience working with business customers, developers and Oracle Support to research, document and resolve Oracle system issues.
• Experience using Oracle, or experience in relevant finance roles
• Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Experience in guiding, training and mentoring others, or experience working independently with minimal supervision
• Experience coordinating between project teams and customers to meet unique customer requirements
