About the Role

The Agriculture Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The role focuses on providing expert guidance for AI-controlled indoor farming environments and controlled atmosphere systems. The primary goals are to optimize crop yield, quality, and resource efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on agricultural practices for AI-controlled indoor farming and controlled atmosphere systems.
• Evaluate farm conditions.
• Develop cultivation protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align AI control strategies with agronomic requirements.
• Conduct field and facility assessments.
• Advise on sustainable agriculture practices.
• Support rural development initiatives where applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Monitor project performance.
• Train client teams on best practices.
• Stay current with emerging trends in agronomy and smart farming technologies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience working with technology-driven or precision agriculture solutions.
• Exposure to automation, sensors, or data-driven farming is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Agriculture and Agronomy.
• Practical experience in crop management and controlled environment or indoor farming.
• Consulting skills: ability to assess client needs, develop tailored recommendations, and communicate complex agricultural concepts clearly.
• Knowledge of Sustainable Agriculture practices: resource-efficient cultivation, environmental stewardship, and climate-resilient farming methods.
• Understanding of Rural Development dynamics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and data integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to interact directly with clients and field staff on-site.
• Willingness to travel to farm sites and controlled environment facilities as project needs require.
