About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Lending Specialist role based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate loan applications.
- Assess creditworthiness.
- Perform underwriting activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Interact with clients to understand their financial needs.
- Explain loan products and terms.
- Guide clients through the application and approval process.
- Provide high-quality customer service.
- Resolve queries.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of loans.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Monitor loan performance and risk.
- Maintain detailed records in the company’s systems.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
- Solid Finance and Loans knowledge.
- Underwriting expertise.
- Ability to work with financial software and CRM tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
- Adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in retail or consumer lending, banking, or financial services is beneficial.
