Graduate Engineer Trainee

About the Role

• Graduate Engineer Trainee (Manual Testing) for Gurgaon Location.
• Entry-level position for applicants with strong skill sets in programming, systems configuration, and testing related to systems supporting human resource functions.
• Day Shift, 5 days’ work from office.
• Both side cabs depend upon address being in the hiring zone.
• Service Agreement – 12 months.
• Gate Assessment before Interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and test Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration™ (TBA) System to meet client requirements.
• Use proprietary systems and tools to set up and configure tables/parameters in the TBA System as defined by analysis.
• Prepare test cases and test data.
• Execute test activities based on direction.
• Review client requirements documents and preliminary test plans, adhering to due dates.
• Ask clarifying questions on stated requirements.
• Utilize problem-solving resources and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Assist with analysis and/or test planning using client requirements documentation.
• Identify needed test cases and complete test plans.
• Document relevant configuration in analysis specifications.
• Fix any issues identified via test execution.
• Perform stress testing of the system.
• Analyze and debug issues.
• Work with global teams efficiently.
• Share information concisely (Oral, written, and listening).
• Take ownership and responsibility for work assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Education: B.Tech / BE (CS, IT and ECE) / MCA pass out only.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles/concepts.
• Principles of automation testing (exposure might be desirable).
• Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Ability to break down complex problems into smaller, manageable pieces (strong analytical skills).
• Apply basic relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys, SQL and DB2 queries).
• Experience with systems implementations.
• Write intermediate SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot intermediate system defects and errors.
• Good understanding of Data Analysis.
