About the Role
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – PCU is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Days
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Rotating days, weekends & holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
- Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
- Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Training
- Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training.
- Training includes:
- Virtual orientations (Two from 8 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Classroom-style sessions: 8 AM – 4:30 PM (6 shifts total)
- Virtual training modules.
- On-unit shifts.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.
