About the Role
This is a remote Cloud Engineer internship role supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services for the Proconnet platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with deployment pipelines.
- Monitor system performance.
- Configure cloud resources.
- Contribute to documentation.
- Perform basic troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundational skills in Software Development.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language.
- Basic understanding of APIs.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts (servers, networking fundamentals, system monitoring).
- Understanding of Cloud Computing principles.
- Experience or coursework with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Working knowledge of Linux environments (command-line usage, basic system administration).
- Basic experience with Databases (relational or NoSQL, query fundamentals).
- Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and collaborate effectively in a remote team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Interest in cloud engineering and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
