About the Role
The Interior Designer will work full-time in a hybrid arrangement, primarily based in Mumbai with some flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing interior concepts.
- Preparing mood boards and presentations.
- Collaborating on space planning and layouts for residential and commercial projects.
- Producing construction drawings and detailed documentation.
- Coordinating FF&E selections (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
- Aligning design intent with project budgets and timelines.
- Attending client and site meetings.
- Coordinating with consultants and vendors.
- Supporting project execution from concept through completion.
- Regular communication with the project team to ensure design consistency, quality, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional layouts.
- Architecture-related knowledge and Construction Drawings skills to develop detailed plans and support coordination with project teams.
- FF&E expertise, including furniture planning, fixture selection, and material/finish coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint) is beneficial.
- Strong visual communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field and prior experience in residential or commercial interiors will be advantageous.
