- Partner with designers and product engineers to translate design intent into functional software, evolving components and tokens across Figma and code, and incorporating feedback from product work.
- Improve the quality of experiences built with our components by considering user accessibility, thoughtful interactions, and reliable behavior during implementation and testing.
- Enhance the usability of the design system by assisting teams with the adoption of shared patterns and improving documentation, examples, and workflows.
- Utilize AI tools to explore development approaches and translate ideas into code, evaluating and refining AI-generated code in context.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundation in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in building interfaces and the ability to articulate design decisions.
- Demonstrated care for visual design and user experience, including an interest in accessible interfaces and interaction details.
- Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools, including providing context, evaluating, and verifying generated code.
- Ownership, willingness to learn, clear communication, and receptiveness to feedback.
- Curiosity about reusable systems and the challenges of serving diverse product needs with shared components.
- Interest in problem-solving collaboratively with designers and engineers, contributing ideas, and understanding underlying requirements.
- Experience with design systems, prototyping, or developer tooling is a plus.
Qualifications
