About the Role

Plan B Consultancy is looking for ambitious finance professionals to build a career in strategic finance and business advisory. This role offers early ownership, founder interaction, and leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage execution for assigned client portfolios within the VCFO practice.
• Review monthly financial closures, reconciliations, and MIS reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review management reports with financial insights, commentary, and key business observations.
• Analyze revenue trends, profitability, margins, working capital, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
• Support financial modelling, debt servicing analysis, breakeven analysis, and capital structure reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely delivery of finance engagements.
• Conduct first-level reviews before submissions to senior management.
• Participate in discussions with founders and management teams, supporting strategic decision-making through financial insights.
• Mentor junior team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Articleship exposure in Virtual CFO (VCFO), Business Finance, or Financial Advisory.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business finance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Leadership potential and the ability to take responsibility early in your career.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Freshers are encouraged to apply.
